Skull base anatomy continues to fascinate neurosurgeons because of its complex bony landmarks and closely related neurovascular structures. A sound understanding of this anatomy is essential for safe skull base surgery. Along with classical knowledge, modern neurosurgery now requires familiarity with newer technologies and evolving surgical approaches.
Academic meetings play an important role in sharing experience, refining techniques, and learning from experts. The Midterm Skull Base Meet at PGIMER, Chandigarh, aims to provide this learning platform. The cadaveric workshop will help young neurosurgeons understand skull base anatomy through hands-on dissection, while the CME will focus on practical aspects and nuances of various skull base approaches.
On behalf of the Department of Neurosurgery, we warmly welcome all faculty members and delegates to the Midterm CME and Cadaveric Workshop to be held on 10th and 11th April 2026.
With warm regards,
